1. Get your ingredients: To make homemade peanut butter, you’ll need 2 cups of roasted peanuts (unsalted), 1/4th tsp salt, a food processor, and patience. You can also use other nuts such as almonds or cashews, but let’s stick to peanuts for now.

2. Roast the peanuts: To get the perfect flavour for your peanut butter, you need to roast the peanuts beforehand. Just spread them out on a baking sheet and roast them in a preheated oven at 350°F for around 10 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Don’t over-roast them, or it will affect the texture of the butter.

3. Blend the peanuts: Once the peanuts have cooled down, put them in a food processor and blend them until you get a smooth and creamy texture. This may take around 5-6 minutes, so be patient and keep scraping down the sides of the processor to ensure everything gets blended well.

4. Add salt and more flavour: Once the peanut butter is smooth, add in the 1/2 tsp salt and any other desired flavours such as cinnamon, vanilla extract, or honey. Blend them for another minute, and your homemade peanut butter is ready! We haven’t added any extra flavours other than just salt and it still tasted fantastic.
